Id like a clear answer from ANYONE. Was it Plaster of Paris? and what was illegal..

Anything that makes your wraps 'harder' is and should be illegal. What constitutes plaster of paris? Who knows. But if you can put a paste on handwrap fabric that makes it stiffen up, that sounds enough like plaster to call it plaster. And I can't imagine somebody wrapping my hands with something like that and me being 100% unaware of it. They tried to cheat a little bit, and got caught. If it looks and walks like a duck, it's a duck. Even if it's a small duck, or some hybrid of a duck and a chicken. Once I hear it quack, I'm gonna call it a duck. And suspend it for a year.

was Tyson's revoked because he bit an ear off? Tito's because the NYSAC deemed his wraps 'illegal' and made him re wrapp, what about SSM or Vargas for testing positve for steriods....? no they were just suspended. My point is..if they were deemed illegal from paster of paris, which is very serious and just being illegally wrapped, why not explain how severe it was instead of saying...wet gauze.. because putting tape on the skin is illegal but not life threating...wearing thr trunks too high is illegal but not life threating..

Im just saying.. if paster of paris wasnt found...then why the revokation of his licence?

There was also a powdery substance on his pads and gauze. It may or may not be plaster of paris. But can you think of any other reason to spray something that is going get wet prior to putting your gloveson? Well my reasoning behind doing something like that si because you have a substance on their that will give you and advantage when it gets wet. If you have ever had you hands wrapped up then you know the palm of you hands gets sweaty and wet long before you kncukles and the outer part of you hands do. Also the thickness of the wraps and the layers woud take sometime to get wet. Spraying it before you put you gloves on would greatly speed this process up since all that moister prior to to putting you gloves on would be trapped inside of you gloves and sealed once you tape the wrists of you gloves tight. For you to make any excuses and point out others is leading me to believe that you would approve of doing something illegal something that give you an advantage over your opponent. Whether it be a small thing like a head but or a lo0w blow or a large thing like loading your gloves up. To me you think he should only be suspended it if were found he had cement plaster or some other illegal substance? You think wetting your wraps prior to the fight and inserting a hard firm pad inbetween you knuckles and the out layer of tape is not a big thing. Let me put it this way take a small piece of flexible plastic. Wrap your hands with hand wraps you can buy in models. in between your knuckles put some gauze then over the wraps and the gauze place the piece of plastic. Go one step further and tape you hands over the wraps and the gauze and the plastic or rubber what ever you choose do this only to your left hand assuming you are right handed. Wrap and tape you other hand the same way minus the plastic. Put on 12 once gloves and punch the bag or better yet a piece of meatlet me know what does more damage....Lefty

not true man..when I heard the report on ESPN last night.. they stated his license was revoked.. I assumed the SUBSTANCE that they were testing came back to be paris of plaster.. Im not sure if you even been following whats been going on but the ACCUSATIONS from almost everyone including SSM doctor was that there was plaster of paris like substance on the wrap.... I assumed that on FEB 10th SINCE the CSAC suspended Margo until that hearing was going to have the results of that TESTING for PARIS of Plaster..AND THEY DID NOT, YET REVOKED HIS LICENSE...

google Margarito hand wrap and almost every article before FEB 10TH will come up PARIS OF PLASTER..well the results of the hearing said,, they are testing for that.. that's why Im confused..think what you want I dont care ..

A local radio station around my way reported two weeks ago when Margo was suspended..said he was suspended for PASTER OF PARIS..,,yet the result so for, is that they dont know

Dude belive me lab test dont take three months to perform. They are holding back some information here because the use of plaster in his golves is not only bad for him but also for the whole of boxing. It makes the officials who examined his gloves look incompitent and frankly they just cant have that. To me the hard pieces of plastic are more then enough to get him suspended or revoked for 1 year in the states. So stop your blood clot crying and move on. Fess up he is a cheater and he got caught doing some thing illegal here in NYC they call it assualt with intent to harm. You get 3-7 years in jail for it....Lefty
