    Try this...
    Hurt???

You are right.. who has Froch fought that comes close to Hopkins??

What does that have to do with Taylor Ducking Froch twice and wanting instead to face Green or Pascal???

    And you call me obtuse??

I understand it is hard for some people to conceptualize things when they are obtuse.

Pascal isn't world class... Miranda isn't world class, and Froch has not proven to be world class.

Taylor has proven to be world class by fighting Hopkins and beating him.

Taylor wants money. It isn't a secret. Unless you can't be bothered enough to read what is going on in the world.

How has Taylor ducked Froch twice?

In the first instance you're referring to, Taylor was still under HBO contract and they wouldn't approve Froch as an opponent.

In the second instance you're referring to, Taylor-Froch is all but a done deal. Showtime's even announced it already. How is it a duck if the fight is happening?

You can't really be a paper champion is you had 3 consecutive drop outs on the way to securing the titles. It's well known Froch's been ducked but that isn't to say he is great - there is a difference & Froch has it all to prove but in now way is he a paper champion.

I definitely cannot comment on that one because I'm completely unaware. I can say that in the Pascal fight he showed a strong jab and knew how to put his punches together a whole site better than I thought he could. In my opinion, he's one of those talents who performs down to the level of his opposition, sadly. I think in big fights, he has what it takes to win or at least give his opponents hell. Just the way I see it after seeing only 2-3 of his fights, including the Pascal fight live. Froch really reminds myself of me. I have a hard time rooting against him now. Can't help it I'm afraid. He seems like he makes fights harder on himself than they have to be because he wants that rush of being pushed. I have a tendency to do the same damn thing, unfortunately.

              You're a paper champ until you've beaten a champ.

              Froch's not beaten any champs.

This is pretty cut and dry.

the threads on this site are seriously getting beyond a joke now. He wanted to fight inkin for the mandatory shot at calzaghe, inkin ducked twice went for the lesser wbo so wouldnt have to face him. wanted to fight calzaghe, didn't get the shot, so fought pascal because taylor bottled it. faught an exciting fight with pascal to grab the titlr now it seems like taylor anf froch wii get it on. All this ducking and vacating has lasted over 2 years, so its hardly froch's fault that he not had his shot at the more recognizable names in the division.

Froch is the wbc champion on merit, has beat everyone in front of him and if other so called better boxers want his title take him on.

A paper champion is someone given that status for no reason & who is media hype. Froch earnt it c'mon and he's willing to go stateside to show it whereas Taylor ISN'T willing to come to Europe.

Big difference m8 - who is the real champion? Stay @ home Taylor or fight the best Froch?

Who's got more media hype than Carl Froch? The man is a walking headline with that megaphone mouth of his.

IMO a paper champ is someone whose title exists only on paper, meaning he didn't take it from the rightful champion. Beating an unproven fighter for a vacant belt doesn't make someone a champion in my eyes. Once he gets a successful defense or two (just one if it's Taylor) under his belt then I'll consider him a real champion. Until then he's just a guy that beat another guy in a matchup of "who's the next best?" after the real champion vacated his belts.
