Eric Lucas practically did and Kessler is far superior than that guy ever was. So yes, I am saying he could.

Yeah, cos When roy jones took the fight with Toney he already knew toney was gonna weight drain himself, thats why he took the fight.

Kessler a danger to a prime roy jones at 168? LMAO, please elbourate, what does Kessler have in his arsenal that would trouble a prime roy jones jr?

Exactly, your an ass bandit moron with another pointless opening post.

Yeah you seem the type that asks dumb quesations....

Oh, and it was no secret Toney was tight at 68.....I guess you just get mad when anyone has a go at your hero...The personal insults are a dead give away. LOL!

Kessler would always have a chance against a chinny fighter.

Nothing wrong with Kessler mate, he's a fine boxer.

He's certainly no more of a nobody than Clinton Woods.
Kessler beat Beyer for the titles, and bayer was so shot its unreal, Kessler is a good fighter, but when people start claiming he could give a prime roy jones a run for his money, thats a bit too far fetched imo, what has Kessler ever shown in his career to indicate he would be a danger to prime roy at 168?

Seems like people overrate Kessler on the basis of one fight against Calzaghe.

im talkin about the fighters, gonzalez and hill, two very good fighters, two big fighters, joe likes to bully his opponents, hold their heads down for uppercuts etc, i dont see that happening with these two
im not sayin joe could'nt win, just he'd defianetly have a tough night
and a good chance fo losin
                But that's what I'm saying -- height doesn't mean you'll win.

And I don't see Gonzales and Hill beating Calzaghe.

Devastating KO power....Against a chinny fighter like Roy he'd always have a chance.

Jones aint my hero at all, but yes you are making common sense.

                      1) Roy Jones only fought james toney because he knew in advance toney was gonna be weight drained enough so jones could win.

                      2) Mikkel Kessler is a danger to a prime roy jones at 168 pounds, because Kessler has beaten great fighters of Jones's calibre like Danilo Haussler.
