Some Roy Jones fans on here are simply....DELUDED

Ok, let me start by saying a lot of the RJ fans are simply deluded when it comes to their boy and their hate for Calzaghe!

All i hear them say is "Calzaghe never beat a great fighter who was at the top of his game, Roy woulda knocked Calzaghe out easy if they fought 6 years earlier".

Ummmm.....Which great fighter was in his prime that Roy beat?

Dont give me Hopkins and dont give me Toney because that is complete and utter bull****. Toney was dead at 168 and Hopkins was green, still a novice.

I hear you say Calzaghe is the most overrated fighter in history....Well, i have to disagree with that...That title goes to Roy hands down! Roys the undisputed champion of overrated fighters.

The version of Hopkins that Calzaghe beat was a lot better than the version that Jones beat and if Kessler had been availible for Roy to fight then reluctant Roy would have avoided him like the plague.

Straight up haters are all some of you are......Ive stopped watching comedy and reading your posts to get my laughs.

Calzaghe goes through RJ's record unbeaten.

No, he said they would have never fought because Roy would have avoided him like Dariusz Michalczewski.

Not my opinion, it's what he said.

I don't know if your thick or anything?

I am a fan of both, I like both fighters. I do admit that if the fight were to happen 6 years ago it would have been close but I still think Calzaghe would have given Jones some problems and a tough fight. I also think Calzaghe could go thru Jone's resume undefeated (except Ruiz, since Joe couldn't go to HW of course) and Jone's could go thru Calzaghe's resume undefeated as well.

              No hate from me.

you think calzaghe could take virgil hill and gonzalez? those huge 6 foot somethin guys? at the point when jones took them on?
i mean calzaghe is good, but his style seems all wrong for someone bigger than him and who can push him around
but if you think otherwise ok, this is just my opinion

I respect you're opinion, I think the only "tricky"/"hard" fight for Calzaghe would have been the James Toney fight. Hopkins at the time was still a bit green in my opinion.
