Palle was a big part of the problem, but Kessler should of got the hint when his team turned down Miranda for a useless strap. He would be in the same situation now even without a belt. It might be a bit worse considering he has to deal with MANDS like Haussler.

I was watching Kessler way before Calzaghe fought him, btw. I always thought he was a very good, solid fighter. Classy dude, too.

Miranda had nothing to offer Kessler at the time. No belts, no nothing. As far as I know, Kessler took a chance on securing a better fight, but unfortunately it didn't happen. Maybe someone can clarify on this.

And anyway, I thought Kessler eventually agreed to a fight with Miranda, but then Miranda turned it down?

As for "taking the Calzaghe route", maybe some fighters would be wise to do so. Joe may be disrespected on here by a few forum twerps, but at the end of the day (to use a Calzaghe-ism) he's going into the history books and the HOF whether they like it or not.

Listen, it's common knowledge that Kessler is trying to get out of his contract. It isn't his fault AT ALL that he gets matched up with less than stellar competition. Kessler has been trying like crazy to secure big fights, but who wants to give him a shot? Nobody does.

Let's not even get into naming the "bums" that Roy fought.

Point is, I dont think kessler has shown anything thus far to suggest he would be a danger to Roy Jones at 168.

If anyone thinks otherwise, please let me know how Kessler is going to land clean on a prime a roy jones without getting hit.
