Yeah that is true, if you can speak Spanish and your parents are from Mexico your nationality is clearly Mexican regardless whether you have never lived there, and you weren't even born there.
you're an idiot. It's your blood that decides your heritage and what you are, not a ****en fence that the government put up. Can someone be mexican and live in the states?????? America is where you live, it doesn't decide what race you are. so if my parents decided to live in china while i was born and i was born and lived in china for 15 years then I move to the united states by your dumb logic I would be Chinese

      3) People justify attacking Mexicans on here by pointing to "mexican" posters like Xcaret yet wanna say he's not Mexican... Ur right, u can't choose ur nationality *******!
      4) I am a wannabe??? I have never claimed to be Mexican! I have always said I am Mexican American and that I am proud to be of Mexican descent and that I live in the greatest country in the world
      5) I don't have to justify myself to anyone, especially to u! I will defend whoever I please, especially to individuals who use a Xcaret to attack the rest of Mexicans

Hispanic signifies what race you are. IE black, white,Hispanic etc etc.

"If if his mom and dad f his Mom or Dad is from Mexico, then is Mexican American"

How hard is it for you to understand that where his mother and father comes from is not HIS nationality unless he was either (a)born there or (b) at the very least raised there.

You guys should be proud of being American, because that is what you are.

And your getting angry, because your a wanna be, who cant justify the fact you think you are Mexican when you aint.

Yep you can be Mexican and live in the States, but only when you were born or raised in Mexico or both. You dont suddenly become Mexican, because thats where your parents come from.

no it doesn't you just show how ****** and ignorant you are.

"Hispanic (Spanish: hispano, hispánico) is a term that historically denoted relation to the ancient Hispania (geographically coinciding with the Iberian peninsula: modern day Spain and Portugal) or to its pre-Roman peoples."

"The term is now used to convey the culture and peoples of countries formerly ruled by Spain, usually with a majority population of Spanish heritage, and usually but not always, speak the Spanish language. These include: Mexico, Central and South America, the Greater Antilles, the Southwestern United States, Florida, the African nations of Equatorial Guinea[1] and Western Sahara, and the northern coastal region of Morocco[citation needed]. A Hispanic culture also exists in the Asia-Pacific nations and territories of the Philippines, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands[citation needed]. Despite their many similarities, Hispanics do not compose a ****geneous people or culture."

          you are an idiot.

I would be considered mexican-american. and my blood is 100% mexican. Being born in the States makes me american(due to where i live) but my blood is 100% mexican and my heritage is mexican. Raised by mexicans, with mexican values and work ethic, mexican discipline. I'm not white, im not black, im not indian, as a matter of fact my grandfathers dad is spaniard. My grandfather has londe hair and green eyes. I'm a mexican who lives in america which makes me mexican-american. You should have paid more attention in school, it's quite obvious you don't know what you're talking about. I'll help you out

I've said this a thousand times before.... Boxing for most Mexicans is a means to overcome poverty... Being right next to the US helps exponentially in fighters being exposed where they can be seen and given further opportunities.... But put Mexico half way across the world, far from America, their "dominance" in the sport would probably only rival Thailand....

Put any poor country with a big population that has a penchant for gettuing punched in the face, right next to America, and base one of the 3 main sanctioning bodies in its city and I quarrantee you the outcome will be similar to that of Mexico if not better...

The magnitude of this fight, being on a big stage and all that comes with it just cements Luevano even further as a fighter that has come a step closer to fighting somebody that can define his career.. A Concepcion loss will show that Luevano is that much better than a prospect highly touted by one of boxing biggest promotional companies in top rank..
concepcion isnt no highly regarded prospect. i just heard of him for the first time something like 3 weeks ago. and i follow boxing HARD CORE! not to mention that it was because of a thread on here...with a pinoy stating his name. just because hes a highly regarded prospect to the filipinos doesent mean hes highly regarded to the whole boxing world. his record pales in comparison to luevanos, and luevanos isnt that impressive. if he beats luevano, that will be a great name on his record. i searched his name on youtube when i heard his name and he resembles pac alot in looks and style, it even seems like hes trying to be pac. and does luevano even speak spanish?
