Taylor vs Froch... that's all that needs to happen. Love to see this fight as I'm noty to sure who will win this one.

Good to see EVERYBODY showing a lot of respect to Joe now he's left the game.

Don't do this, don't make out like Joe never wanted a Jermain fight#, he did and badly because at the time he couldn't get Bhop - remember? Jermain did nothing but avoid.
If I recall correctly, Jermain was champion at Middleweight while Joe was a belt holder at Supermiddle. At this point Joe wasnt very well known(pre Kessler, Hopkins, Jones)in the US. I dont think you can knock Jermain for fighting the number 1 contender(Pavlik) in his division rather than moving up a weight class to fight somebody who wasnt even unified champion at 168 yet. Calzaghe didnt hold nearly as much clout at the time. Frankly the fight everyone(outside of the UK) wanted to see was Taylor/Pavlik.

Im not trying to get into a huge argument here with you but please dont act like Taylor ducked Joe. He had better options at the time that made more sense on several levels.

its about time a boxer gives credit to a true great fighter who should haved kept on fighting some more big fights at 168 and 175

Then Taylor backed out by doubling what he was going to agree to ( just like Hopkins did to Joe years ago), fought Pavlik and got sparked. That's why they never fought when Taylor was the "hope" to beat Calzaghe. Then that "hope" torch was passed to Pavlik until he fought Hopkins and got schooled.
            The "hope" to beat Calzaghe?

Dude Calzaghe was a NOBODY in the States at this time. Nobody cared about that fight. Your nuts.

              It is good to see.

Funny how everyone hates on PBF for retiring undefeated and saying he did everything he wanted in the sport. He accomplished a hell of a lot more than Calzaghe. Not trying to knock Joe at all but its true.

Both guys went out on their own terms and that is comendable.

Well said JT, Hope Froch gets smashed next fight. Barely cost past his last fight against a nobody.

See even Jermain Taylor just as much as everybody else know Froch isn't the same caliber of a fighter like Calzaghe.

I respect Froch and wish him all the best but I don't understand why he thinks a career defining fight would be with him... I mean come on who has he fought? Oh yeah Pascal who was a no-name anyway.

There are plenty of fighters that are next in line in front of him for a crack at Joe, including; Chad Dawson, Bernard Hopkins II, Mikkel Kessler II, and many more. Why does Froch suddenly think he deserves a fight and starts shouting his mouth off.

I respect Froch, and what he is trying to do for the sport and for British boxing... but he is beginning to piss me off by saying all these things.

Calzaghe is a better fighter than him and he is retired so he will never get a fight with him because he doesn't deserve one anyway, so he just needs to get on with it and try to make a name for himself by fighting big names instead of continuously using Calzaghe's.

If he thinks he is that good then fair play to him he should go fight some big stars today to prove it and I will support him all the way.

Anyway, I wish Froch all the best in his career and I hope he achieves all he wants, even though he is a Nottingham Forest fan (Coming from a Derby County supporter!).
