That was very classy Chad. It is time for it to be your era.But fighting Tarver in a rematch and not Glen Johnson is not the way to start it.I still can't figure that one out.I hope you don't have to fight some weak mandatory after that,it would damage your reputation. These belts don't make the champion, the champion makes the belt prestigious.Fight the best fighters out there and make it exciting, win lose or draw. Then, and only then, will you become legendary.

You'll be the king when you rematch Glen Chad.

Hopkins has never shown any interest in fighting Dawson, unfortunately.

I see similarities in this to what happened when Mayweather left because Cotto was coming.

And Dawson was claiming to be king before Calzaghe retired, saying that the Ring belt doesn't mean anything.

he beat johnson already........hopkins has no interest in fighting dawson, so he's the king.

dawson was/is a champ at 175, he told kessler to move up.....

paul williams-dawson is a bigger fight at this point than a kessler fight would be, an assuming williams beats winky wright, it'll be a much bigger fight.

kessler needs to fight and beat a noteworthy opponent, before people really start giving a **** about him.

It was very close and some thought Johnson should have got the call, so a rematch would be good to settle things.

Also he should try calling out Hopkins more, IMO, not saying Hopkins would bite, but he should try.

I'd also like to see him beat that Romanian guy, to make it undisputed.

Agreed. Kessler keeps saying he's tried to get fights against people who aren't in his own division, but he hasn't tried to get fights with the top fighters in his division, and that's ******.

I can understand Calzaghe and Hopkins wanting to retire, but I really wish that one of them would give Chad a shot.
