Joe wouldn't of budged Hagler even, when he could apparently punch hard. Hagler not only took Hearns best shots, he also fought guys like Sibson,Obell,Roldan that were much bigger than him and they could all crack, and none of them could hurt Hagler.
Hell Sibbo looked like godamn! CW let alone a MW.
Hagler ducked Herol Graham.

Originally posted by andrewcuff View PostYeah I know. Everyone talks about the Hearns fight, but the Mugabi one showed his chin far more! Mugabi was a very dangerous puncher and Hagler walked through everything. I don't recall Hagler even backing up half a step!

I mean if you consider Foreman: take away his power and he suddenly looks very ordinary. Take away RJJ/Whitaker's reflexes and they are suddenly far more beatable. Hagler was a complete fighter. Even if you take away his iron chin, he's still an elite fighter (he's not Margarito!). What I mean is he's not a fighter who relies on his natural talents. He had so much about him: power, speed (he was no slouch), head movment, footwork, very, very underrated defense.

And then become a pressure fighter for the next few rounds. He's most definately one of the most balanced, all-round fighters of AT.
