That's speculation. Like it or not, a lot of Calzaghe's title defenses while both were active came against fighter's Sven had already fought.

I happen to have the same view on it as BPP.

Hagler did lose to a past his prime Leonard who fought only once in five years and never fought at middleweight. Calzaghe is bigger, fast enough and hits harder than Leonard at middleweight. Hagler had a lot of problems with an old Duran and Duran's best weight was 135-147. Hagler won a very close 15 round decision on Duran. It may have gone the other way if the fight was 12 rounds.
As for who Joe can't beat? I have no idea. He has never lost a fight, so it's hard to say that X or Y fighter beats him. It could just be that Calzaghe beats anyone below cruiser or heavy. There is nothing to prove otherwise.

I don't why you think having an undefeated record is the end all be all. Do you think Joe Calzaghe is one of the top five fighter's of all time or something? Personally, anyone who retires with an undefeated record leaves a lot of questions IMO. Look at Robinson, Ali, etc...they had multiple losses. Sit back and try to figure out why that it is. Don't think too long though - it's really not that hard.

Finally, he gets respect. What more do you want???

                • Nigel Benn must be punch drunk calzaghe struggled with bika beat and old hopkins barely and an old jones and now he beats hagler, hearns, and leonard get the f@#$ck out of here joe calzaghe is the modern day alan minter both were very similar in styles a speed etc, and we know what hagler did to minter had he ever fought any of three or even jones or hopkins in their primes he would have been thrashed. He is a very good fighter with good skills hagler, leonard, and hearns were great fighters with great skillsets that's the difference, beating old once great fighters doesn't dictate that he would have beaten prime great fighters, he is just simply being over hyped he is very good but not great along the lines of leonard, hagler, and hearns, nigel benn needs to get his head checked.

to compare a hagler that fought leonard isnt that good of a comparison because hagler was past his prime when he fought Leonard..

ok so with the Calzaghe beating everyone below crusier theory, someone can basically say Floyd May beats everyone below middle weight.. and that isnt true, its flawed logic

Ottke retired undefeated. He can also beat everyone at 168 and under.

BTW, thank God for Julio Gonzalez or Michalchewski fans might be spewing the same crap.
