I go by The Ring title. If there is no champion, I settle for the WBC title. That's it.

IBF is a close #3
IBO is #4 cuz at least ratings are decent

Some people put too much emphasis on titles/belts. Any bum can win a title. Look at Baldomir. He's a c-level journeyman, yet he was the undisputed/lineal WW champ of the world.

None taken. I realize this logic won't work at every turn. Hence the reason I say 'I'll settle.' It's not that I'll tout the person as the man at that division, but I just happen to notice the WBC title as the one most of the big time guys go after.

Neither Mosley OR Berto are the true 147 pound champion. But, if I had to settle, I'd go with Mosley. However, I can see myself generally leaning towards the guy with the green belt.
