what does it matter if the fight is in his "prime", if he's top 5 p4p, he's top 5 p4p.

the hopkins calzaghe beat is better than prime nunn. if someone beat shane mosley now it would be a huge win, true?
wtf no man.... esspecially considering some thought he lost that fight

You ever heard of a guy by the name of Mike McCullum? He also fought Jones when Jones was unstoppable (and produced a pretty legendary fight) In fact, he as produced a couple legendary fights Micheal Nunn, Jirov, etc.

      Hopkins has beat
      ODLH
      Winky Wright
      Tarver
      Trinidad
      Pavlik
and a TKO victory over Glen Johnson
not much people can say that
He also fought Roy Jones when it mattered... please don't question Hopkins' ligitimacy

Yeah Tito was in his prime. He was considered the world's best fighter and coming off three incredible wins in succession.

        Sshhh...

"McCallum was prime" -- you are an idiot.

what did trinidad do at 160+?? **** all is the answer.
Comparing Lacy and Tito is just plain ******. You're showing your depth here...or lack thereof.

Sure there was hesitancy over Tito's performance against Oscar. But he silenced naysayers by moving up to 154 and beating a fighter considered top 20 at the time, and then stopping a fellow pound for pounder (Vargas) after. He solidified his claim as the world's best by moving up to 160 and flattening Joppy - something neither Hopkins nor even Jermain Taylor could do to a shot version.

Facts are facts. Tito was 40-0 (33), 29 years old and considered the world's best.
