in boxing terms Hatton is slack at times with the training (to the average Joe he is extremely dedicated compared to me or you) but i think Mayweather is trying to show him that if he truly wants to be the best P4P King he has to do that little bit extra. I'm undecided if really truly wants it that bad considering what ever happens after Pacman he's made for life financially and will have good career in the media.

For any US readers Hatton already holds events such as short comedies after dinner speaches over here in the UK and they sell out within minutes, he really is fan favourite if he wins or loses.

Well if Ricky won't, his nuthuggers absolutely will, I bet they already saved what Ricky quoted for future posts.

But I really doubt Ricky is the kind of boxer that makes an excuse for his shortcomings.
Didn't make an excuse after he got KO'ed by Floyd Jr., I at least have not heard one.

see how Ricky should not have brodcasted what he feels about training early. His fans put on a lot of faith in him.

you are correct, but its always why we love him, its kindda a english attitude. But its also the fact that we have seen Hatton pile on the weight between fights and really look fat and fit the name Fatton, so when he did the press conference for the Manny fight he really didn't look to overweight (for him, i know you US people think he's a fatty) which amazed quite a few people over here with it being festive seasons just gone and all, i was expecting him to look a monster of a fatty!

That would probably be the picture. They are two great fighters, but outside the ring they are just two regular gentlemen.
