I think it's very possible that Showtime would be willing to air a special edition ShoBox card with Froch-Ward headlining it. That card would be much cheaper to Showtime than Froch-Taylor.

Also, from what I understand, the Taylor-Green fight might be paired with Spinks-Latimore in St. Louis, which is guaranteed to do very good business. So, Froch doesn't really add much more to the fight than Allan Green, who is from nearby Oklahoma.

what are you talking about man lacy is calzaghe's biggest win! calzaghe fanatics wouldn't hype him up just to make joe look better. no way. they are honest folk.

How about a belt and thereby giving Taylor the possibility of calling himself a two-division champion?

Should I join in the with the rest and be mad? Nothing wrong with this match two top10 SMW. Froch is not any better than Green; people think that Pascal win was career defining.

does anyone really take that nonsense seriously? belts are for ******s. super middle is a terrible division and i suspect taylor is just gonna hide out here collecting free paychecks for a long time. like calzaghe did.

Taylor is the divisions big draw. Justifying his fight with Green by pointing out that Froch fought Pascal is ridiculos sorry.

wasn't pascal the greatest of all time? or was that lacy?

Froch and Green are on the same level. If Bute and Kessler negotiations did not work out, nothing extremely wrong with this fight. Rather see him go for belt but whatever still a good fight.
