Apollo Creed beat them up pretty brutally for his rematch against Balboa.

Out of the literally hundred plus boxers I've watched spar I'd have to say hands down that Nate Campbell is the most brutal. Not only does Nate beat the living crap out of anyone he spars, but he schools them, embarrasses them, and has made quite a few of them cry. I'm not exaggerating. Also he doesn't care how big or small they are. I've seen Nate spar guys much bigger and stronger than him, and he still schooled him.

Campbell has always seemed like a fearless fighter to me.

According to what Ali wrote in his book Foreman in particuar and Frazier as well used to mutilate (spelling) the sparring partners. Ali didnt as he used to work more on defense in sparring while Foreman was teeing off....

In a way Ali pays a price for that today.
