I mean, if they made a mistake on Marquez's scorecards that could have made him win, wouldn't you think it wasn't fair?
    Honestly, no.

I RARELY ever try to dispute a decision if I feel that it's even remotely close. I'll give my opinion, but I wont dispute it. It takes a Soto/Lorenzo I type moment to get me to just say, '**** it, I can't stand that.'

Pacquiao won the power battle, Marquez won the boxing match.

To me, that's a draw. All there really is to it, even though I scored the first fight for Marquez.

okay i guess, dude. that's your opinion and i'm not going to argue with it coz ima stick to mines. TO BE FAIR, there should be a rule saying that they could go back to the scorecards and be fixed. i think it's only fair.

but yeah, Marquez should have won that second fight tho, but i guess that's just boxing, anybody can win by a thin margin of one point.

I think we can agree on most of that. Good one.

I thought it had been decided at scoring a round anything higher than 10-7 was leaving the fighter at too big a disadvantage??

I'm pretty sure it's standard protocol to score a round with a fighter touching canvas 3 or more times 10-7 only

so what you're trying to say is that if a boxer gets knocked 5 TIMES, it'd still should be 10-7? if so, i can't agree on that.

That fact that this board could only muster up one vote for 'Finito', lets me know a lot of sad things about this board.

Lopez was a fantastic fighter, but hes not better than Sanchez or Chavez. He may have retired undefeated and had a ton of title defences, but lets face it, the names on his record do not make him better than either of these two.

What were Lopez's best wins BTW?

I don't know too much about him
