Well it depends on what you define as credit.

Floyd Mayweather didn't beat the best at 140. Or at 147 for that matter. For whatever reason...It is what it is.

now I'm assuming by best u mean Cotto or Maragrito or Wiiliams....what made them the best? who they beat? what belts they win at the time and aginst who?

I think it's more of people questioning why he left when he was about to really get in the mix to set off some mega fights with Cotto, Mosley, Margarito at the time, etc.

Floyd isn't bigger than the sport of Boxing but that's what his demeanor seems to be

Frietas and casamoyer where at 135 when he was at 135 not 130. they didn't want it. Zoo lost to hatton and retired. Harris lost to Maussa. Hatton didn't want it and #3 Cotto didn't want it. 147 at the time Cotto and maragrito wheren't ranked over Baldmoir or accomplished what Baldomir accomplished at 147 at the time. Mosley could have had the fight, but tooth was hurting. what else u got !!!

So by your excuses, Floyd should not fight anybody becasue, he is/was already the best. My friend you have to prove you are the best, not just say it!!!!!!!

It's 1 thing to not like him and hope he loses or another fighter beats him. but this discredit of what he has done is blasphemy. the constant " u aint fought nobody" is frustrating especially when they were somebody until u made them look easy!
