u can't make the best fight, in the case of 140. but how do we define who is the best in a division? Ain't it the undisputed champ of the division or atleast the lineal champ. so if Pacman can move and beat De la Hoya for no belt and get credit...Roy Jones moves up to HW fro 1 figth and get credit. But Floyd moves up to 147 and fight 2 champs an dgets no credit. What kind logic is that?

Nobody's denying Floyd's accomplishments, but he didn't necessarily clean out the divisions. there's a difference between becoming a champion and being a defending champion. Floyd would win a title and keep it movin.

Floyd fought tough comp at 130-135, but after that (which was how long ago?), his team had to choose carefully who they were going to have Floyd fight. It's a business no doubt, but history will show down the line that Floyd may have been a great technical fighter, but he'll have an * next to his record if he doesn't choose to fight any of the elites that he left behind after the Hatton fight.

Well it depends on what you define as credit.

Floyd Mayweather didn't beat the best at 140. Or at 147 for that matter. For whatever reason...It is what it is.

if floyd beat kostya at 140, then beat judah while he was the champ at 147, and then fought oscar at 154, and retired you wouldn't have so many people bitching. you would have more people proping him up as the greatest, and you would have fewer uninformed fanboys arguing other wise.but ever since floyd got to 140, it was more about the money.which is why he fough gatti in jersey, who couldn't beat floyd if floyd fought with one arm.

Theres no need for further explanation, that this were great fighters at the top of their games!!!!!!!
Frietas and casamoyer where at 135 when he was at 135 not 130. they didn't want it. Zoo lost to hatton and retired. Harris lost to Maussa. Hatton didn't want it and #3 Cotto didn't want it. 147 at the time Cotto and maragrito wheren't ranked over Baldmoir or accomplished what Baldomir accomplished at 147 at the time. Mosley could have had the fight, but tooth was hurting. what else u got !!!

I'm not sure what this has to do with Pacquiao...seriously. I don't make those kind of comparisons just to boost "my" guy. But personally I hated the fact pac didn't fight any of the top 135lbers and gets credit for that title. Sucks.
