I'm pretty sure Arum wants to keep it in the stable for the next one. especially since it is guaranteed to be a solid PPV and will ultimately rejuvenate the image of one of his welterweights. I suppose it won't for you if its Margarito who wins until he rematches his own conquerors. I think the Margarito situation will be seriously altered by the findings of the boxing comission for those handwraps anyway. Who knows, maybe Margs is getting suspended.

u act as if margarito could still call the shots. WRONG! mosley is on top but cotto's shadow is right next to him. margarito doesn't have any other choice.

Hey, If Shane is willing to rematch Margo. Im all for it. He can ask for the majority of the purse now. They will def make money in Cali and can even make it PPV cause it was def entertaining.

It's not up to Shane. It's up to Arum who won't put Margarito anywhere near Mosley again. Or Williams either. After the loss they started talking about a Cotto rematch as if the Mosley loss never happened. Mosley has never ducked anybody and unlike Margarito, he quickly rematched fighters who beat him handily.Margarito has never made an effort to rematch fighters who beat him. That's the one mark on Maragritos' career that I can't respect whether people want to talk about it or not.

See, that's all I was seeking. There is method to the madness and it's financial. Increasingly in the sport, it is financial.

I have held back from making any statements regarding the handwraps until the commission concludes it's investigation. There will always be people who question Margarito's legitimacy regardless, though.
