Margarito should do the right thing and rematch Mosley

Hey, If Shane is willing to rematch Margo. Im all for it. He can ask for the majority of the purse now. They will def make money in Cali and can even make it PPV cause it was def entertaining.

Cotto does, but the rematch doesn't have any of it's stakes that made the first fight exciting. Essentially, Margarito-Cotto II is to determine the second best welterweight.

It just seems that Margarito has a history of rematching guys he has knocked out and not rematching fighters who have beaten him.

After getting KO'ed by Mosley, every excuse in the world popped up. He had weight issues, he had eye surgery, he wasn't mentally focused. OK, you want to prove yourself to be the better fighter? Rematch Mosley and beat him the second time around.

Instead, he's talking about going straight to a rematch with a guy he has already beaten, Miguel Cotto. Why? He has unfinished business with Mosley, not Cotto.

There is a pattern here. Margarito has been defeated by Paul Williams and Daniel Santos in recent years. Margarito has never openly sought rematches with the two.

But, he has sought rematches with Kermit Cintron and Miguel Cotto, two fighters he holds KO victories over.

I'm not saying this, but there are people who will say that he doesn't want to fight guys that he can't beat.

He should do the right thing and seek out a rematch with Mosley. That's what a real warrior would do.

I totally agree with you.. Margarito isn't going to want to fight Mosley again when he got beaten so badly. I question every win Margarito has ever had now because of trying to use plaster with his wraps. I wouldn't be surprised if he used them in the Cotto fight. Look how badly he was cut up.

Nazeem has made his fighters opposition hand wraps an issue SEVERAL times.

Grant it this is the first time gauge was taken to be tested for plaster. If it's plaster then NO EXCUSES , even if MARG CLAIMS he didnt know. that's your camp..you should know what's going on.

but nothing is proven that it was plaster YET. just speculation from the Mosley camp.

Hell, I saw half a dozen pictures w/Oscar's face on a cross dresser that turned out to be fake.

Once the offical statement from the CASC comes out, we'll know for sure.

I never said it was a blowout, it was competitive until the second half of the fight.

What do you mean unfinished business??? Mosley beat the **** out of him. Margarito "maybe" won one round. Mosley would beat him again and again...and again.

Cotto vs Margarito was a much more competitive fight and deserves a rematch. Plus there was already a rematch clause in the contract, not too sure if there was one for Mosley since it was just a "tune up" for Cotto rematch.
