I wouldn't say that. Cotto actually didn't look that bad...it was the bleeding from the mouth and nose that made it look worse. In fact, it can be argued that Margarito's face has never looked like it did after that fight. So should we assume that Cotto had something illegal in his gloves??? No! That's ridiculous!

You didn't get my post did you? I wasn't making a serious comparison, I was saying that Cotto's face really didn't look that bad. As soon as his uncle wiped the blood off his face, it didn't look that damaged. In other words, Margarito's opponents have looked like that before. Whether it was anything in his gloves or not is still up in the air.

We can't compare the Mosley fight 'cause he barely landed anything on Shane! Plus, Shane's face usually holds up pretty well when he fights.

I hope he recovers from this, I really do. If he gets a rematch with Cotto it might be a little too soon, that would be 3 grueling fights he would have to go through back to back to back, it might be too much punishment for that man.

few reasons for that
#1 A cotto/ Mosley fight is much better for business.
#2. Cotto now will not gain anything fighting a person who lost his belt.
#3 i beleive this situation about this illegal behavior will cloud the selling of tickets for the event.
#4people will look at a fight with Margarito as a way for Margarito to be back is he beat Cotto again, and i do not beleive cotto team will use cotto as a steping stone for margarito.
i wish i can find a positive ground for this fight to happend, but as you see everything is negative i mean in my opinion

I'm a fan of both Margarito and Mosley, and was really looking forward to an all-out war on Saturday. But like most people, I though Margarito would take it via UD. Mosley's performance was amazing and I'm happy for his big win!

So now that Margarito has been knocked off his cloud, and found with that bull**** handwrap thing, what do you all think he needs to do to earn some respect back???

Would another win against Cotto in a rematch do it? How about if the rematch doesn't happen? Would a solid win against Clottey in a rematch help???
