If I were Tony's people, I wouldn't rush into a Cotto fight just yet.

If they think they can run over Cotto again after the beating he took from Mosley, they're going to see a worse beating come June. Cotto this time around is in Margarito's position being the underdog and the fighter who has to prove something.

I don't think Margarito can take 3 back to back fights with guys like Cotto and Mosley. Those 3 fights can put Marg on the shelf permanently.

That's true. At the same time, I don't think he should get in the ring with some can either (Golden Johnson ), 'cause that'll just lead to more ridicule from fight fans. How about someone like Luis Collazo? Carlos Quintana? Those guys aren't pushovers, and have the skills to outbox Marg, but they aren't as heavy-handed as Cotto/Mosley/Clottey. Would a win against one of those guys help?

If he can get past the plaster hand wrap issue. Lets say for arguments ake he is telling the truth and the substance found isnt what it appears to be then he should fight Cotto. At this point unless Cotto calls off the fight and goes after someone else he cannot back down. If cotto should seek a battle with say PAC, Shane, or someone other than Tony then Tony could go in the ring with a Collazo or a Berto even. Maybe Berto's Promoters would less uncomfortable with putting Berto in the ring with margarito now who knows. Collazo got beaten by Berto even though he had a good showing I don't find that fight very exciting. Who ever he goes after if not Cotto he better not be named Williams or Clottey....Lefty
