          Yeah, I guess we can't talk about fights before 1984 because compubox didn't even exist.

          I guess I will stick to current history.

          I suspect a fight has to go a few rounds for this to work because I can think of many first or second round stoppages where one guy outlanded the other 60 to 6 or something like that.

            didnt baldomir land about 63 punches in 12 rounds against Floyd? im sure corrales landed a low amount as well, can you check up on those?

              I already checked them both. Baldomir had 79 in 12 I think, Corrales had about 90.

                Anyone know what Hopkins had on Taylor in their first fight? I think Hopkins was still in the single digits of landed punches going into the 6th round.

                  The last 4 rounds would have crushed the majority of all the rounds of most of the fights posted so far.

                  Hopkins landed 96 in 12, Taylor 86 in 12. Both fighters landed about 125 in the rematch.

                  Taylor-Spinks was low too.

                  Both landed 85-100, but that is still more than the dominance on the first page.
