Why will Wlad never be considered a great HW?

Best post of 2009!Watch all the tapes you can of a "prime" Ali or Louis. Today's Wlad would have an easy time with them, and any honest and informed observer.
Wlad took a fast progression in his early 20s and stumbled a few times. Many of the best fighters of all time have done that. But he is 32 and on a run of six title defenses in which he hasn't been so much as touched. A HW's "prime" is 32-7. If he fights three times per year for the next five years, he'll unify all the titles and match Louis's record for defenses in the process. This is not to mention that he has a previous string of alphabet defenses.
Technically speaking he's been the best fighter for a long time now. His jab is the best of all time, maybe even "pound for pound." He throws a perfect cross and a near perfect hook. His combination of speed, power, and defense has no near comparison in the history of boxing. His defense is easily in the top three in all of boxing right now. He NEVER gets hit.

How often did Ali fight 6'5"+ HW's and make them look easy?
How about Lewis? Mavrovic? TWELVE rounds!??! At least Wlad KO'd Thompson.

Oh man, oh man, if you see Wlad, you should totally tell him what he said. Cos' Wlad would just totally kill him and we'd be like "YEeah! Justice, punk *****!"Comment

He is an extremely technical boxer, which is not appreciated by many who just want to see a no talent slug fest. He can be kind of boring, but he knows exactly what he is doing and capitalizes on it.
If you like Mayweather there is no reason not to like Wladimir. Unless you are white hating racist, which many of you are. You can't stand seeing a dominant european boxer and fill this forum with your hate.Comment

I think he wont get as much credit as other fighters because the Heavyweight division isn't as competitive as it used to be... there are barely any good Heavyweights out there at the moment.Comment
