Thomspon has a better win % and KO % than Terrel AND Ali only took him 15 rounds whereas Wlad KO'd Thompson.

There, you've just PROVED my point - what bull**** propoganda excuse are you going to make now?

How can anyone doubt his greatness... we all know that Ali,Louis, Foreman, Frazier, and Holmes would get KO'ed in the 1st round by a 37 year old Corrie Sanders...

You asked whether Ali ever fought anyone over 6'5 and made it look easy, well he fought 6'6 Ernie Terrell and dominated him for every round without any trouble at all.

I would say that Terrell was a more accomplished fighter than Thompson. KO & win % mean nothing if you haven't fought anybody.

His style works for him, so it's hard to knock him for it. I doubt anybody gives a **** about his personality for the most part. His biggest problem is bein the best of a dull division.

Well to be fair, Terrell was 6'6", 212 lbs, and he wasn't a southpaw. But he was more accomplished than Thompson and Ali was much more dominant, from start to finish.

Of course I thought this thread was about Wlad not ever being considered a great HW (which I think he might some day,) not sure why we're comparing him to the greatest HW of all time.

No heavyweight champion has ever escaped criticism during their time, Wladimir is no exception.

Mainly because of his lack of good opponents IMO, the division is not very talented.
