I have to watch the fight again but I think Joe won. More importantly though. No one other than Calzaghe fans really care about his press releases anymore. He never gives non Calzaghe fans what they want to see, and he's been quoted "slagging off" boxing. I've seen enough of Calzaghe.

Lacy's mom probably scored him over Calzaghe in their fight too. It only matter what the judges think at the time. They are comission approved as "the final say" before any bout.

I want it to be Dawson because he is the toughest challenger at LHW that Joe could face. But I doubt it will be because if this is a farewell fight in Cardiff, its going to be a marquee name. I wouldn't doubt if he fought RJJ again or maybe even Hopkins. I don't like either fight because he's already beaten both, but at least a Hopkins rematch would be interesting.

They were both press releases on here and other sites like a week after the fights... before they both had time to think things over. But I TOTALLY agree with you. I don't see much point in giving Hopkins another crack, unless he promised to be as active as he was against Pavlik. A RJJ rematch would be nothing more than a spectable for his Welsh fans.
