Two people go into business together but the face of the company has less start up money than the other guy. How can you really justify being paid more than your partner when you put up less money?
Very wrong. Sans Pacquiao, Hatton cannot make that much money either. That is the reason why hatton is looking only for big names to fight. The same thing goes for Pacquiao. He needs to fight only the big names to make good money.

The agreement of both parties are needed for this fight to happen. Don't blame any for not agreeing. It is the businessmen behind the scenes that should be blamed. They were poor in judging and convincing the fighters to accept the prize money.

This is professional fighting. The smell of money dictates who fights who. Let me ask you. If you have as much money as Pacquiao, will you fight a bigger man for an amount of money that you already have? A defeat from hatton can very well end his money streak and he therefore has to make this fight worth his while.

If he decides not to push you cannot blame him from doing it.

Let's leave it alone... either the fight will happen or we'll have yet another reason to be disillusioned by the sport.

still.. it says a lot of him... ppl weere proclaiming mannys greatness prior to all this ****.. .now look how fans look at him..... its because of him.. nobody else.. fans reacts to what their fighters do.. and manny right now... is acting they way that regular boxingfans hate.

            with that being said...

who can manny pac face right now?

is he going to get paid more than fighting with hatton.?

            if the answer is NO.

then.. his p4p status.... means ****.! unless he fights margo or cotto and beat them.

I didn't know he only got 32 from DLH......that was bull**** considering how much of underdog Pac was......plus his resume makes Hatton's look like a joke.......so based on resumes alone this should be a 70-30 fight for Pac.....but takin' ´Hatton's drawin' power into consideration 60-40 or 55-45 would've been fair!

pac didn't say he beat a prime oscar

he said he beat oscar when OSCAR said that he was still at the top of his game

he's trying to make a point. how can he be afraid of HATTON when he faced DLH, where people where actually concerned for his safety?

some of you guys just can't read

32% of A DLH FIGHT! >>> his entire career.

manny would have fought DLH FOR 25% !!!!!!!!!!

                  anyway... i cant care less...

who ever he fights now.. is not gonna pay him more.. and he knows that!!!

and if he wants to keep his P4P 1 STATUS.. he will gonna have to face.. TOP DOGS !!!! and we will see whats gonna happen..

                  wrong move by manny.

I actually agree with Manny. But he lost me on Hatton not fighting Luzcano in his prime. Really Manny. YOu think Barrera Morales Delahoya and to an extent Marquez were in their Prime. But thats water under the Bridge and even Margarito seems to be looking to take smart money fights while dictating the Terms of the Contract. Lets face facts that every fighter will change their outlook on the fight Game once they get on top and to expect them to still act like a Contender or a fighter looking for a last shot (like Barrera) is asking a little much. I have said before we have to stop letting the fighters choose their fights but the would the Sanctioning Bodies do any better with many of their outrageous mandatory challengers. We just have to live it and hope its Not PPV
