What are you talking about little man? No one is saying Hatton is the same level of fighter that Manny is, but he is still one of the top fighters in the game and it's a fact that he brings more money to the table.

I'm guessing you're a hormonal teenager by the way you type. In what way are the Brits 'fake', 'lying' or 'cheating'? They are drunk, that's for sure, but the rest was just brain dribble wasn't it?

      Greed is killing boxing

Its starting to become clear that boxers should not be able to choose who they fight anymore. Of course im kidding but im tired of seeing negotiations for a month or more then calling off a fight that was never signed to wait months more till the next rumor. Now we see the WInky effect coming to the lower rankings and is a bad thing for boxing. When boxing needs to become more mainstream by being more accessible to average fans without the wallets to fork over 50 bucks for every fight, these fighters seem to be missing the point. YOu think there is any chance PaCman ever fights on free cable again while still a good fighter, unlikely. We all know this a ploy to get Hatton to bend to an even more unfair split in the money in favor of Pacman. And we know if Hatton is smart he will still take it, but im not sure if these boxers are all that smart anymore. Fans, especially young fans, are growing bored of these games and are switching the channel to the very gay but popular UFC, where the PPV fights contain quite a few Big Names fighting on one card. IN the old days of PPV boxing the undercards were known for being better than the overhyped mainevent and would make the whole 50 dollars wothwhile. Nowadays because of the absurd of amounts of money given to the Headline fighters there is nothing left for the undercard and then we are forced to watch 3 fights so boring we would rather watch soccer till the Main Event. The other thing is with boxers becoming Promotors it seems like the Big name fighters want nothing to upstage them so they make sure the undercards are not better than than their own FIghts. Boxing is the one sport where studing your opponent is very important to winning but they should be studing UFC to figure out how to compete for the audience. Boxing is fighting a losing battle to a lesser opponent with all this nonsense and unless the fighters wake up all this money they are fighting for will no longer be available.

It is only fair that he gets a higher percentage than Hatton. He paid his dues and he deserves his lion share of the revenue.
Utter and complete rubbish. I don't like Hatton. I don't think he much of a boxer but rather a brawler. I think Pac is a much better boxer. I think a 55/45 split would even have been fair. That is ALL irrelevant! Arum, Pac's representative, agreed to a 50/50 split. At that time it is finished. Pushing for more money was ******. It showed great maturity for Hatton's team to budge and agree to 52/48. As far as I can see there is no reason they had to. Now Patton will fight for 2 to 3 million instead of 12+ million? Hatton can fight and get 5 to 6 million without Pac. I don't understand. Pac avoids calls by Roach and Arum. It is obvious someone is feeding him a bunch of crap and unfortunately Pac isn't concerned with the truth but rather what he wants to be the truth.

It has nothing to do with who is the better fighter but I bet you Hatton grosses more then Pac this year.

Told you guys Manny didn't really want the fight.

He easily realizes that Hatton isn't a part time fighter, nor is he 6 years past his prime.

            Understatement.

"Boo hoo! I lost respect! Manny is just greedy! He is scared! He didn't buy his mother a tumble dryer, so he's a ****! It's true because I read it!"

**** off with that! Nobody here has personally lost any money, and if you are not a fan anymore because of ONE FIGHT that might not happen, you were only a fairweather fan in the first place.

And How exactly is he being exploited this time around when there is an offer of minimally $15 million staring him in the face?

Let Manny sign a minimum guarantee of $15 million and he will sign it definitely. I wonder who would make up the difference from the revenue? It is easier said than done. That's where many controversies between promoters and boxers exist. I wonder where you got that figure and I am sure whoever said or wrote it won't take that responsibility. It must be a joke. Just don't believe on what you read or hear. You are matured enough to know what is real.
