That's how we attract more of the "bloodthirsty, A.D.D. fans," and get boxing back on the mainstage.
berto won the fight according to the judges, which includes 1 judge that scored it 116 to 111 for berto, id hate to be in the side of that crazy blind ref cause that ref doesnt know how to score fights, 22 lames agree with that crazy blind refat least i scored it right while the berto fans were all drunk and wasted ,so much to mess up their vision of what was happening,

i wouldnt also be siding with berto winning the fight cause flawless had berto winning the fight, a crazy 116 to 112 ref had it for berto, who wants to be siding with flawless and the drunk judge, not me

colllazo was after berto the whole fight, he never took a step back or showed that he was scared. in the first round if the ropes weren't close by berto would of fell.
give him the rematch, hopefully somewhere up here, nyc or atlantic city...

Who was the judge who scored it 116-111 by the way? and what is their history? is it a known bad judge?

Close fight. One point for Berto or one point for Lou. Either way I can't argue and both sides are right. If you feel Lou won then you are right. If you feel Berto edged it out in the championship rounds and won you are right. Thats what great fights typically do. They give credible arguments for both sides. It was good to see how Berto handles adversity and it was good to see Lou do well in championship fight again. Also just because the guy you scored it for did not win doesn't make it a robbery. Even more so you feel your guy only won by one or two points. Its called a close fight. My budy though Berto won and had no doubt. I saw it going either way. (point ref took was bad choice in championship fight). But different perspectives happen with fights like this. I just want to see a rematch.

Collazo won. The only other outcome that would be swallowable, but still wrong, is a draw. Berto lost, and was given a bs decision that was undeserved. Yeah it was a great fight, and they both fought like warriors, but in his heart Berto knew he lost. So did his dad!

I know the judge was way off, everyone agree with that.
The judge was Bill Clancy by the way to whoever asked.

Anyway both fighters will benefit from the fight so really neither is the loser, it gave me a couple flashbacks of Gatti Ward.

Berto had about 3-4 rounds that he landed some nice shots. Early rounds he did a lot of holding, so much the ref deducted a point and it continued throughout the fight. I think folks forget a fight is a round by round event. You dont step back in the end and say..."oh welll he landed harder shots, so he wins.'

when you break this fight down by rounds, Collazo won more rounds. Even had a 2pt round win.

Here's his judging and refereeing record.

He doesn't seem to have a history of bad judging.

I agree with this. Berto is not my favorite fighter by any means... Having such an hard time last night shows he won't be a Mayweather or a Roy Jones perfect type of fighter. He will be more of a Cotto or Margarito.
