I'm agreeing with you fool. I think Calderon is the most fundamental boxer.

Winky Wright deserves a mention unless being a southpaw disqualifies him...

yes, and i'm surprised no one has mentioned his name, he would be one of the top 3 in this era or least the last 20 years.

hopkins was the very first guy i thought of when i read the headline for the thread. i think that you can throw around a few names who had great fundamentals, like Juan Manuel Marquez, Eric Morrales, Barerra, Calderon, there are a few more that i can't recall, but for all the stuff that meets the criteria of having great fundamentals, everyone I mentioned falls into the category......

I can't count Hopkins. He's very wily and smart. But not technically sound per say. He charges in with his head, ****s with you his elbows and hips.

Bernard's head is a boxing knowledge bank. But not very conventional.

I think it's Iron boy all day. James Toney's up there as well.

Hokpins or Winky. Both stick wit fundamental boxing to hit and not get hit.

Floyd's fundamentals arent close to perfect. Of course getting the fundamentals perfect has little to do with how good you will actually be.
