Why does Juan Diaz not want a rematch with Nate Campbell?

Juan Diaz was knowm for breaking his oponents will, and in the Nate Campbell fight he had his will to win broken, he got discouraged from getting cut, and that he had a fighter in front of him that would not back down or go away, and at the end of the day I dont think he wants to be in the ring with someone that has done that to him and could be it again.

I agree, and I don't think it's a bad idea either.

I'm just saying that it's very corny and un-warriorlike. I'd give Diaz more credit if he took the rematch, got his ass beat again ala Cintron going after Margarito than the sad display he is putting on by ducking a rematch.

I hope Marquez puts Diaz in his place because Marquez would atleast try and be the best champion he can be and fight Campbell.

Don't try and call yourself a world champion when you don't want to get your old belts back from the guy who whipped your ass.

It is video of Campbell at the press conference calling out Casamayor for a rematch. Casamayor was Campbell's mandatory, then gave up that status to fight Marquez. Get your facts straight.

Pound for pound on whose list? Your own? Pound for pound lists are all subjective, some people have Calzaghe number 2. And most of Marquez's achievements have been in lighter divisions.

I don't care what you did in other divisions, I only want to hear about the number 1 lightweight, the guy with the belts Campbell, and the number 2 or 3 lightweight Juan Diaz, who lost to Campbell.

The reason that I and just about every other boxing fan with half a brain looks to the Ring belt as the only real chamionship is because it has no sanctioning fees period. The alphabet titles are nothing more than a private organization that charges fighters to put on their belts and make the orginization millions of dollars. They arn't intrested in crowning an actual champion so gives a **** about them if thats not their goal.

The ring has no sanctioning fees and has only one goal, and thats to crown a one and only champion. If thats flawed then I don't know what the *** you want?

You know why Casamayor had the Ring belt as long as he did? Because he isnt forced a mandatory, that isnt a real belt if thats the case to me. 1.Golden Boy bought it in September 2007 and Juan Manuel Marquez was ranked 4th at the time woo hoo big ***ing jump and 4th is till higher than 15th douche bag. Casamayor was crowned champion in october 2006 a full 11 months before tha magazine was bought.
