i dont know who owns what exactly so forgive me but i mean what if hbo decided not to do boxing anymore and lets just say that NO OTHER COMPANY decided to pick it up and that means NO MORE PAYPERVIEW..what would happen to all the boxers? will they still box knowing that they arent televised? would boxing in america still exist? kind of a weird question but just hypothetically speaking would the boxers get another job knowing theres no more televised events?

Fighters would still fight as long as they got paid, but the sport would suffer.

To much money invested in this by cities like Las Vegas with all the bookmaking money boxing generates. If HBO dropped the ball I'm sure a lot of other networks would pick it up (I think).

lol yeah HBO would never drop boxing and if it did someone would pick it up. there's no such thing as what if no one picked it up. Plus as you already seen gbp and top rank are more than able to put on and broadcast their own fights.

Am guessing they would turn to UFC/MMA, or just plain street fighting like kimbo slice.

That happens already, you know that right?

2nd. More boxing shows would see a huge improvement in live boxing.

3rd. It's said Tv killed the Fight Clubs.

What i fear, is the day Amature fights don't get televised. That happens, then i drop boxing.

showtime will pick up, if not showtime, versus or espn.

if no network picked up boxing, boxing in the US would end and go overseas.
