True, by fighting little guys but other fighter have done that so that wont hurt him.

I just dislike when a fighter is talked about as great, but avoids the young fighters that are hungry - and has already made his money but isn't trying to feed the young fighters.

First off Hopkins is 44 years old, and an ATG fighter with an amazing resume and legacy. At his age he has every right to retire and never take another fight. Hell its been that way for years now.
Second, get over it people Bernard Hopkins is NOT afraid of anyone. And I dont say that as a fan boy, think about who BHop really is.

The man just respects that the division need someone to carry it on.. Beside, Dawson hasn't done enough to face him anyway.

Dawson fought three world champions (Johnson, Adamek, and Tarver) and Eric Harding who was once a top 10 LHW, how does he not deserve to fight Hopkins? Hopkins won't fight Dawson for the simple fact Dawson is too busy with Tarver on March 14 and than there is IBF mandatory Tavoris Cloud. So Dawson has two scheduled matches already, it's just that one of them doesn't have a date yet.

You are overestimating Hopkins skills. During his ****ty match with Winky Wright and after Dawson's performance against Jesus Ruiz. Max Kellerman wondered how Dawson would fare against either Wright or Hopkins. He knows along with Stewart and Lampley that Dawson would murder Hopkins right now.
