Juan Manuel Marquez Wants To Force a Pacquiao Trilogy

I am not saying he won't but there was a talk already of Pac moving up to 135 whether he wins or lose, even though there was a rematch clause. If he did, i believed Pac would have gone for the clause. But JMM did not have the option of a rematch clause. You can blame Pac for that but JMM agreed on it.Comment

The Sky is blue, water is wet, and the same could be said about Hagler, Hearns, Suger Ray, and Duran.
If one of them never fought a day in their life that group just wouldn't be as special.
What would Joe Louis of been without Schmeling?
What would Frasier have been without Ali? What would Ali be without Forman?
Seriously we could play this game all day and all night.
Pac paved his road and established his own legacy. Take Marquez out of Pac's resume and he would still be P4P anyways. Not everyone credits him with his wars with Marquez anyways.
Take Pac out of Marquezs resume where would he be?
Pac dont need Marquez.Comment

This makes alot of sense.... Give Pacquaio credit for JMM moving up to a new weight class and taking on the World champion, especially one as dangerous as casamayor... Its not like Marquez couldn't have taken on a bum like D. Diaz... I don't understand ur logicComment

From what i remember, JMM was asking for a rematch after his first win after the lost to Chris John. Around 2006, summer or fall.Comment

marquez must prepare for juan diaz first before entertaining a pacquiao bout. certainly, boxing fans wanted to see pacquiao-uglyboyfloyd or pacquiao-margarito after pac-hatton. but is marquez willing to fight pacquiao for a 70-30 split in pac's favor?Comment

Ok, none of those fighters would be where they are without each other but as it stands today, where would Marquez be without Pac?

Let me ask u something, where would Pacquaio be without Morales and Barerra???? Great fighters fight other great fighters.. and when their is controversy, try to avenge those close lossesComment

B. Juan Manuel Marquez turned down the second fight because he listened to his Trainer and father figure Nacho Bernstein. In hindsight it was bad advice to wait out for more money but stop insinuating that Marquez was afraid or didn't want to do it was just he took bad advice period. In the end out of him, Barrera, and Morales he is the only one left standing and he's been the only person to go punch for punch with Pacman in a long time. When your arch rivals trainer calls you the smartest fighter in boxing then that ****ing means somthing. So when only one round seperates you from the P4P champ then who the **** else are you gonna challange?
Seriously why should the Number 2 PFP fighter concentrate on anyone else other than the 1# pfp fighter when they are essentially in the same weighclass. So people like you can say he's ducking pacman?Comment

Its common sense that Marquez moved up to get another opp at Pac beating Casamayor to earn the lineal lightweight title hoping to close Pac in on a possible rematch.Comment
