Why are you so against Floyd facing any top competition at welter?


Legends are made in the ring against the best possible opponents. In all of the boxing specials I have watched throughout the years,


none of them ever really talk about how much money was made.


So again, what is your problem with Floyd facing the top welters?

there are fans that want Floyd to lose to their favorite fighter... and there are fans that want Floyd to fight the very best competition due to his tremendous skill and talent...

Thats about 99% of boxing fans.


The other 1% are Floyd stans who are afraid to see him display his taletns against rugged competition.

Floyd shouldn't fight him because the only way Marg could win is by brute force. This is boxing, not a toughman competition. The sick freaks like Larry Merchant would love to see Floyd lose...but Larry Merchant is a piece of crap who deserves to die. Everyone is aware of Floyd's skills. We all know what a badass he is. He should just ride off into the sunset like the stud he is, and not give any oversized welterweights the chance to make a name for themselves off of the undersized legend Mayweather..

Actually, if Floyd were to win, it would probably be one of his best showings. He's never faced anyone as big or as strong as Tony, nor has he faced anyone who throws as many punches. He really would have to put on a display of every single talent he has to beat Margarito. Hes not going to hurt Tony at all, so Tony would just disregard any shot from Floyd and bully him into the ropes and corners. That is going to take a tremendous and memorable effort from Floyd to beat the Tornado.
