See this is what I'm talking about! This is how insecure you are that you have to bring up Williams who has nothing to do with the conversation. The last sanctuary of a man who can't form a sophisticated argument is to change the subject and that man is you.

The reason Margarito and Mayweather never fought is plain and simple.. Margarito isnt a big name, and never brought in any money.. and thats basically what all boxers fight for..

and if they are ever able to fight, this would be an easy win for mayweather.. Margarito lacks the hand speed, foot speed, and overall boxing talent and skills to compete with mayweather.. yeah he has a good chin, and stamina, and workrate, but mayweather could easily outbox him and control the pace.. Cotto outboxed Margarito and Mayweather is light years ahead of Cotto as far as boxing ability.. Even Clottey was outboxing Margarito.. easy decision for may..

I never said he didn't. Its actually the first fight I'd like to see. However, we've been through this a million times before. Paul declined an immediate rematch and didn't want any of Tony until after July 26th. Its the same with Floyd denying a fight with Tony period. What did Tony do? Did he wait around doing nothing? No, he just moved on.

Margarito has earned his shot at anyone at this stage of his career. A decision loss to Williams doesn't change that.

Just like a Judah loss to Baldomir never changed the Mayweather Judah plans. Just like a Morales loss to Raheem never changed the Pacquiao rematch plans.


Why don't you just admit Floyd isn't as confident in his abilities against the best welters as you are?

He wouldn't have retired if he was. Hes all about the money, and a fight with Margarito or Cotto, while they wouldn't bring him DLH money, would still land him a nice chunk of change.

1. Your argument is faulted because Cotto and Cotty both lost to Margarito. So if you want Floyd to follow a game plan that produced two losses then yeah i guess your point must be that floyd would still lose?


2. Carlos baldomir and Zab judah are Not elite fighters. Neither is Gatti and neither is 34 year old Oscar. So what names are you gonna throw at me now?
