So it's not by as massive a degree some may think given the circumstances and potential bouts.

Another day, another ****ty cynical post from bs****pack. Notice I began by saying Hatton took more risks, and thus more so than Calzaghe, more impressive. He did yes, step up. Took more risks. What more do you want bs, blood? One doesn't share your cynical opinion to the extent you do so they must be the one whom is less balanced, despite stating Hatton took more risks in the very first line.

        Hatton took way more risks.

The question it comes down too, without all the excuses or defense of Joe is this:

        Who was more dangerous:

        Floyd Maweather in his prime?

        Or Bernard Hopkins (43)?

I'm no Hatton fan, but he wanted to fight the best and he did. Props to him.

Ya because a difference of a few places in the p4p rankings is huge right? Hopkins didn't have equally if not more in some ways, impressive wins over top fighters at those times.

Look I've already said Hatton took more risks I just don't think so to quite extent you un surprisingly like to claim. I wouldn't predict consensus but you probably didn't even predict I'd vote Hatton over Calzaghe. That goes to show your level of cynicism on these matters. I know you'd love to litter the thread with anti Calzaghe stuff like a fly to ****. But I'm not gona play ball anymore, tis all dude.

Also I'll point this little fact out (since P4P rankings is the only defense Calzaghe fans have here): After the two fights-

Hatton screaming and begging and loudly trying to get a rematch.

Joe- I will never give Hopkins a rematch.

              Hopkins ducked Calzaghe in 02!

Prime Roy puts Calzaghe's dream of retiring undefeated at huge risk, and it's the fight Calzaghe didn't fancy IMO.

Not IMO, it's true. Calzaghe himself said it.

It's not just your opinion Calzaghe feels the same way.

This is London magazine has been established for over 65 years, providing readers with information about events, exhibitions, music, concerts, theatre and dining. As life returns to normal, Londoners are heading back into the Capital and many visitors are already coming from further afield.

Maybe he was joking when he said this?

"I could probably give Jones a tough fight, probably the best fight he's ever had," said Calzaghe. "But I know my capabilities and unless I got paid the crown ***els I wouldn't want to risk it."

Ah that one. Yeah he must've been "taking the piss". Or maybe he was pissing himself at the thought of Roy.
