No, I'd rather see that thing you have in your sig wet.
Really, no P.I. vs. Mexico **** here. Anybody thinking Manny could last 12 with Margarito, is just on that suga buga.
Ya'll need to let the madness stop.

    • margarito has too short a memory. when delahoya decided to fight pacquiao, marg was fuming mad at oscar for fighting a man almost half his size.

now he is entertaining the idea of fighting pacquiao. i can't imagine him eating his words this early. margarito should fight williams or delahoya or any natural welterweight. pacquiao is too small for him.

though i belive pac has a good chance of giving him a hell of a fight.

No, that was in a fight he lost against Morales.

I don't think there are a lot of sluggers who can beat him. This is why I think he has a chance against Marg. It takes a slick fighter to beat (or come close to beating) Manny, as far as I've seen. Of course, I'm talking about Marquez who had incredibly close fights with him (Marquez is exceptional, IMO) and the great Erik Morales.

Margarito, as much as I like the guy, isn't technically brilliant. He is pretty slow, and if Cotto hadn't crumbled late in the fight he could probably have won against Margarito. He did come pretty close, he was out-boxing him for many of the rounds. It might only take that little bit more extra effort to beat him, and this is where will, determination, whatever you want to call it, comes in. We can't physically see these things, they exist in the heart and mind of the fighter. That little extra effort and mental strength may be the key to beating Margarito next time Cotto fights him. Let's not forget, Cotto wasn't exactly unconscious on the canvas, he quit of his own accord.

As I said, Pac could fail miserably. I accept that, but belief can go a hell of a long way. Boxing is 50% mental. If Pacquiao is mentally strong enough and prepares correctly, has the right game plan, I think he stands a good chance of being victorious.
Margarito has never lost to a smaller man.

Pac, as great and special as he is, would be one of the smaller fighters Tony has ever faced. Tony is in his prime, whereas DLH was well past it.

I really wished Pac wouldn't have said that though, hes making a check his fight game won't be able to cash on this one.

            Really?

Is that why Tony petitioned the WBO to be made the mandatory?
Is that why the WBO granted his wish so long as Paul had the opportunity to make an optional defense if he liked?

            Paul chose Q, and lost.

Looks like Paul never really wanted Tony until after Margarito stopped Cotto.

            lmao "easily".

You didn't even see that fight.

After 40 plus fights, how come nobody has done it yet?

Just like Pavlik's only chance against Hopkins was a KO. What happened in that fight? If Margarito doesnt KO Pac then what? we already know Pac is going to land that straight left all night long.
The majority of Tonys opponents are better skilled and faster.

So tell me why hes never lost to any smaller fighter?

I have got to agree with this one.
                  Marquez nearly put him down.
"But he is a counter puncher."
Fine. For as little as you give Margarito's boxing skills, the dude just doesn't stop. Ever.
Manny should not even think about 147.

A reporter asked him a question he answered it and people are to lazy to use their brains and realize that this does not mean he's calling manny it just means he was answering a reporters question.

what did you want him to say no? So the same people could say "Oh he's ducking manny" or "see he's afraid of manny". I swear some of you people will fabricate any rumor you can come up with to discredit any fighter you don't like instead of using simple ***ing logic.
