I PICKED OSCAR TO WIN before the fight!! I lost Bscene points to prove it. But the fight result was incredible, it was UPSET OF THE YEAR. I gave props to Manny and never gave excuses for Oscar because he DIDN'T make excuses himself. But the butt hurt fans are making excuses. Oscar signed the fight and the goal was for him to be victorious, he failed. Weight drained, shot OR not.

I think the goal was to get richer, weight drained, shot or not against the guy Oscar thought he was most capable of beating who is number 1 p4p and who he could make the most amount of $$$ fighting. Lets not get crazy guys...

I'm not really concerned about Tonys reach advantage or none of that **** cuz truthfully HE DOESNT USE ANY OF THOSE ADVANTAGES... he doesnt "box" he "brawls"..... he stays up close and puts pressure on the guy, not even using that reach advantage, if anything he probably wishes his arms were shorter so he could brawl and fight inside even better

No, Roach is on record saying he doesn't think Manny should fight Margarito or any of the top welterweights apart possibly from Mosely. He thinks Manny has lost some power at welter (after all he couldn't put down De La Hoya despite hitting him with a huge number of power shots), and that his maximum peak fighting weight is junior-welter.

This is Manny's ego overcoming his sense, IMO.
