The only reason Pac fought Oscar, and Roach said so himself, is because Roach knew he'd be weight drained and that he was well past his prime. They asked Roach if he would've put Manny against him if they were both in their primes and Roach flat out said NO. Boxing has become a sport where fighters wait until the other fighter is past his prime before they fight. There aren't a lot of fighters that want to fight eachother while both are in their prime. Many fighters wait for the opportune time to fight instead of testing themselves and fighting any and everybody that's out there. That's why there isn't going to be a lot of legends out of this era.

Didn't you pick Oscar before the fight??
You're another ****tard. Look at your past post.

This fight is sort of a joke but people are wanting to be entertained so that's why people will watch. Boxers want huge paydays so they're willing to take the fights that shouldn't be put on. As far as boxing (people who actually know it and just don't watch it) this fight is funny.

Most people picked Oscar before the fight. Doesn't mean you have to blindly stand by being wrong. Oscar looked shot, right or wrong? ****, Manny's trainer basically said so before the fight.

        agreed

I never understood how in this sport you cannot revise your thinking. It's like either he wasn't optimal or it was Manny's efforts **** why can't it actually be some of both?

For some people, hindsight doesn't exist.

Zab Judah would have likely knocked Oscar out that night. True or no?

I don't know. Zab isn't the same either...and was overrated to begin with.

no unless he caught him early. Even as ****ed as Oscar was he still didn't go down from what Manny was throwing. He was close but kept himself on his feet. Manny is a whirlwind for every round he is in, Judah is good for about 4 rounds of solid activity then he wanes drastically as the fight progresses as does his power. Add to that Judah at 147 isn't really THAT devastating of a puncher (go check his record at 147 if you dont believe me) I dont see how he knocks Oscar out.

Next thing you know he's gonna want to fight Kelly Pavlik!
At least he has some balls though saying he would fight Margarito.. AND this is coming
from a Super Featherweight! A certain welterweight I know didn't even dare call Margarito out when he was around.
Thats odd Mayweather said he would fight Tony down the line wehn the fight is biger and better.

yeah but there's a difference w/ the post that was quoted by Chups than just simply changing your view on the fight to just accept it as it is and give props to PAC. even when roach was saying all this stuff against oscar prefight, ppl still continue to say oscar is gonna kill pac. now these same ******s are holding on to roach's words like prophecy to belittle pac's accomplishment.

                      there's the difference.
