Cotto was also know for technically sound boxing skill(Like Manny) good hand speed(like Manny) and great footwork(like manny). So what exactly is the style diffrence between Manny and cotto?
Nope I think Manny is a bit quicker when moving from side to side. Cotto often stayed on rope trying to toe-to-toe with the beast w/c cost him the game.
Very true -- but the key word is "out-box". That's what Pac said. He didn't say he can hurt Margarito and lay him out. Margarito is a beast, that's for sure, but he isn't a technically brilliant fighter.
Just a question but when has Manny outboxed anyone. He is a fighter who has always stalked and estroyed his opponents and against Margarito he would have to do a complete 180 in fighting styles which is a major disadvantage considering that Tony would approach this fight just like he does everyother fight.

Warpac
Again when has Manny ever fought on his heels or moved side to side? Maybe his first fight with Morales and we all know how that one ended for Manny.
1. There isn't exactly a lot of sluggers that are gonna beat Cotto either but Tony did.
2. Cotto didn't quit the fight because he was just winded from the literal windsprints he was doing around the ring, it was all the vicious punishment he was taking. So if a techically brilliant fighter like Cotto gets hit that much how is a fighter like Manny who you said has faults going to stand up to that kind of punishment when his punches have little to no effect on tony.
3. Any man would have quit after taking the punishment Cotto took in that fight and really if he would of continued he would of been seriously hurt and still would of lost because the scorecards had already made it impossiable for him to win. He was down 2 rounds on two judges scorecards going into the 11th and would of been down 4 rounds going into the 12th so why risk getting killed?
Seriously Cotto continuing in that fight would have been almost superhuman and I think it's in bad taste to use that as a way to make Pacman look good.
I think you are taking what I'm saying the wrong way? I don't want to see any fighter get hurt. Seeing Michael Watson permanently injured still gets to me, even now. Same with McClellan. On the contrary, I very much believe in keeping fighters safe. I certainly wouldn't use the Cotto fight as a way to make pac look better somehow. He looks damn good already, it doesn't take any words from anyone else. That's why he's considered P4P #1 universally.
What can I say though? I've posted my thoughts already, but again, if Pac believes he can do it, that's good enough for me. I believe he knows exactly what he's getting himself into.

That was a close fight. 115-113, wasn't it? you say "and we all know how that ended" as though he took a Jeff lacy-style beating. No matter, he avenged his loss twice.

Did you saw the De la Hoya fight? I thought he was pretty good at staying away from the ropes moving from side to side . His strategy changed since fighting bigger guys.
I have asked for Pac to fight Soto, J.Diaz, 3rd Marquez or Rocky, Pac don't want to, why can't you understand that?
Pac boxed Delahoya for a few rounds, i can't respect that, especially when his fans talk so much ****. The guy is now a boxer, his rush in style only took him so far.
Why? Are you so influential that merely asking them to fight, THEY SHOULD FIGHT? By not doing so, you have the right to say the PAC refused to fight them? You are so IDIOTIC and ****** to presume you call the SHOTS.
HEY ******ED ferocity, if you have the GUTS, why not offer DLH $5M and fight him in the ring and let's see if you can last for 12 rounds.
If you can't do that then you're really such an ******* *****.

Margarito is twice as strong than Eric ever was and even if that fight was close imagine how it will end when he fights a bigger stronger welterweight who can't be hurt by even by the biggest punchers in his division.
Also Manny won the two other fights because he moved forward instead of retreating.

At the risk of repeating myself, I don't think it's all about hurting Margarito.
