Is Soto or Barrios heavy hitters? Have you seen Guzman get nailed by hard shots directly to the face without budging? It's pretty easy to tell if someone has a good chin or not. If a fighter can take a shot without moving, or getting wobbled, they have a good chin. If a fighter is constantly getting wobbled and hurt by average shots like amir khan, they do not. Simple. I don't know why I would even have to debate this with you. I've seen dozens of fights where guzman has taken his opponents best shots and they didn't phase him. That clearly means he has a good chin. Has he ever faced a guy with Pacquiao's power? Nope. Could he take them? Who knows, it's impossible to speculate. I simply said Guzman has a good chin, that's pretty undeniable at this point of his career.

Huh? You're losing me bro. Guzman has won 10-12 fights here in the US including Soto and Barrios.
Like I said "rhetoric" changes nothing.
I guess we have are standards ...I said Camacho Had 80 fights in the USA and you say Guzman had 10-12....ok.
I say Camacho was tested by many many fighters who were heavy hitters...you say Barrios and Soto...ok
I also stated that a fighters chin is not tested by how fast he runs...I dont care if a bunch of no name fighters landed flush on him..Im sure he can probably take one of mines flush...but it does nothing to his "legacy".
SPECULATION NEVER WON FIGHTS OR HEARTS AND IN MY CASE WILL NEVER WIN ME AS A FAN....TILL HE WINS AGAINST SOMEONE WORTH WHILE HE IS NO ONE.
p.s. I seriously doubt you have seen dozens of fights with Guzman (dozens =24 plus) he has like 29 fights...his fights were barely telivised

Haha, it's cool man. Look at the top where it says "Read more by Team Guzman", it's a news release.

Nothing personal bro, I live for two things: Arguing, and being right. I mean three, counting your gifs.

You're wasting your time (and mine at this point).

I'm a fan of pacquiao. Next to bernard hopkins, he's my favorite fighter. I'm simply saying it would have (past tense) been intriguing and a great match up stylistically.
You damn wasted our time on fantasy boxing, why not spend extra time reading the obvious reasons why this fight will NEVER happen, right?

If you want to talk "style" tell me, has Guzman ever fought anybody remotely close to Pacquiao's caliber? Now Pacquiao has fought better guys than Guzman, four hall-of-fame shoo-ins to be exact, fought three of them multiple times in fact, and only lost once, to a guy that had a style that is not even remotely close to Guzman's, so we cannot say that Guzman can use that blueprint to defeat Pacquiao.

Is Guzman technically better as a counter-puncher than Marquez? Guzman doesn't even have power that is enough to deter a Pacman assault, he has shown us that he wasn't able to bring his power to the higher weight class. Guzman is going to run. Guzman may be faster than Soto and Barrios but he definitely isn't faster than Pacquiao. Guzman's gonna get tagged, repeatedly, something Guzman hasn't experienced before, and he's going to need to run more than he ever had to. He's going to try to showboat and potshot, problem is, Pacquiao isn't a stationary target! Guzman isn't going to throw anything that will not get answered. Guzman likes to fight going back, while Pacquiao is at his best when he is fighting going forward. Marquez was effective because he was able to make Pacquiao fight on the defensive, Guzman does not have the style nor the power to do the same thing, and even if he did, Pacquaio has shown us in his last fights that he can now fight going back as well. Lastly, cardio. Pacman fights every second of every round and trains to fight for 24 rounds and trains with discipline to achieve this, while Guzman can't even make weight even under the "watchful eye" of Floyd Sr.

I agree! Guzman may get away with showboating against low caliber fighters...but if he tries that with Pac.....first off the fans will boo because Pac cant be clowned he has earned respect and second I seriously doubt if Pac allows it...his work rate will pulverize Guzman! Guzman Smiles he gets punched in the mouth, Guzman puts his hands down he gets crossed, He runs Pac is hot on his ass.

Same here. i think this is a fight fan's fight. There ain't no politics, no bull****, and no Golden Boy involved. I would pay ppv money for this one. But, for the time being, we can only hope.

Marquez vs. Guzman would be a better match-up. Pacquiao gets this one easy, reasons stated above.

I don't buy it. Guzman vs Marquez would be a near shut out for Marquez because Marquez would just box circles around Guzman with neither puncher doing much damage and causing a real dull fight. Pacquiao Guzman would be alot more entertaining. Pac will force Guzman into exchanges and Guzman would have to get into. Guzman has a lot of power in both fists and that coupled with Pac's speed and power make for a bad ass match up.
