Has Joe's reputation got worse or better since the Jones fight ?
I believe its got worse, as a matter of fact i predicted it would, because for one, Roy is universally loved by majority of Boxing fans and when Tarver beat him it did Tarver no favours either. Tarver became public enemy number 1 for beating Jones.
Calzaghe fought his 2nd fight in the States against another 40 + year old who whos career was done in 2004.
calz's got more to do to win the adulation of the majority of boxing fans. As of now, he only has their grudging respect.
Let's also nip this 'old man' Roy Jones **** in the bud to. Jones was 39, Calzaghe 37 ...2 years difference - big deal. Neither were in their prime.
joe was 36 1/2 and roy was 39 and 10 months... roy has been knocked out twice and 3-3 in his last fights... joe waas still undefeated... roy was WAYYYYY more gone then joe
Joes ATTEMPT at showboating was cringe worthy and hilarious. Every move he pulled just made him look like an absolute ******, showing he can't even showboat correctly, he has to do that by halves as well.
