Has Joe's reputation got worse or better since the Jones fight ?

I believe its got worse, as a matter of fact i predicted it would, because for one, Roy is universally loved by majority of Boxing fans and when Tarver beat him it did Tarver no favours either. Tarver became public enemy number 1 for beating Jones.

Calzaghe fought his 2nd fight in the States against another 40 + year old who whos career was done in 2004.

I believe it got worse, you pretty much nailed it on the head.

Also I think the showboating didn't do him any favors, either.

Good point, showboating infront of an old guy who was levels above you in his prime is not a good idea.
