I want to see Floyd fight Margarito. Its a question mark over his head, which he does'nt need especially as he has the ability to get an easy UD over him.

But how much more credit will you give Floyd if he beats Margarito? Listen its all good hating on fighters. If you don't like them, your entitled to your opinion. But be fair. I hate Calzaghe, but i give him credit for unifying the Supper Middle, other than that i have no respect for him. I would however gain respect if he faces Dawson for his light heavy crowns. This will legitimize the best Light Heavy out there. Also, Dawson is a young hungry fighter, unlike Roy Jones Jr.

But how much of Floyds respect will you gain if he beats Margarito? Be honest with me here.
Margarito must weight over 170 in all his fights after re-hydrating, the very least. The most Floyd Mayweather has weighed on a fight night was 149 and that was when he faced Oscar at the 154 lbs division. Fighting at 147 Floyd always comes in at 147 exactly, in other words, he's so good he doesn't need to re hydrate! Also because he's a natural FLYWEIGHT whereas Margarito should be fighting Middleweights like Williams is, because they are both really not welterweights, just fighters who deal with being skinny better than the average Joe. So do you really expect a fair fight if a 170 pound man is facing a 147 pound one? That's a 23 pound disadvantage to Floyd when fighting at welterweight. That's why he needs to fight going back, that's why the Baldomir fight is said (i don't agree by any means, go watch it) to be a boring fight. Floyd has proven to be the best in many weight classes. He didn't come here, kicked a couple 40 year olds ass and retired, he didn't take 10 years to move up 7 pounds. Except one, all his fights were championship fights. He's an ATG what can i say. Everyone knows it. History will show it more clearly than i can, in time. Oh and he also doesn't bite traps. Take an hint fkers.

Mayweather will be remembered as one of those "what coulda been" stories, like Tony Ayala Jr. and Ike Ibeabuchi. He won't be looked fondly on by historians because he didn't give it everything he had.

I doubt you have seen three Mayweather fights to justify your opinion.

Even though his nuthuggers will protect him to the bitter end, non biased fans all agree that Floyd was an exceptional talent who failed to reach his full potential because of his reluctance to face the best fighters in his division.

Also comparing Ali to Mayweather is ridiculous. Although Ali liked to talk thrash he was also funny, and you get the feeling that everything was said in jest. Floyd on the other hand, just sounds like an *******.

Nope. But unlike you I can watch a fighter I like or dislike objectively. You call Mayweather boring based on maybe two fights. If you actually watched his fights you wouldn't be able to say that so easily and often. I don't like Joe Calzaghe too much but I give him props when he wins even if I don't like his style. Just blindly hating is childish.

Bruseles fight was pretty boring too, because Floyd carried him for to long. Believe it or not i believe the Corrales fight was boring too there were too many lulls in the action for my taste. Mitchell fight was no exactly dramatic or exciting either.

Carlos Hernandez fight was boring when Floyd broke his hand.

Think about it. Tony and Cotto are the two guys that everybody wants to see in the ring with Floyd right now. People will only remember that if they themselves stay relevant and have their own legacy. If Tony were to lose to lets say Clotty in a rematch and Cotto lost in the near future people would call for the Floyd match ups less and less. Over time the fighters may be forgotten by non hardcore fans. In fact a win over Pacman who is all but garunteed to leave a great legacy might do more Floyd then the other two combined. Now the converse could happen as well and both Tony and Cotto could do things that would cause them to remembered as great over time. If that happens you are right. I would like to see Floyd fight all three guys to be honest. I always felt Cotto was the guy the was supposed to get the first shot at Floyd because that fight has been there forever. Though Tony has been calling for it, I feel that his win over Cotto was what makes the Floyd fight big enough. The cotto fight was already big.
The thing that most detractors of floyd's fail to realize is that margie and cotto are no threats to his crown! Neither guy has the ability to beat him IMO! The best guy in their division they froze out and forced him to move up! I think PW is the only guy that can give him a reasonable challenge at this point and time but he can't get the fights to secure his name as a top guy to force the pbf bout. lets face it, most of the detractors are fans of either those two so WGAF!
