If he would have fought Pac before he came up in weight you would say Pac had no business in the ring with Floyd. The only fight that has been there for a while is Cotto. Its not that he wants them to lose. In fact the more they win the more profitable the match-up can be. You have already made your mind that Floyd is a coward.(BTW I don't think anyone who choses a combat sport as a way to make a living can be called a coward.) There is pretty much nothing he could do to please you so you should just cheer on his opponents when he fights again. I want to see Floyd fight some combo of Cotto/Tony/Pac and I think its still very possible. I do think you discredit Floyd a bit to much. If this was true you say the same thing about any fighter that waits for a money fight. That usually involves a name fighter waiting on possible opponents gaining more notoriety in order to sell a fight
