Whitiker wasnt the nicest guy either. But he fought everybody or most everybody.

Floyd needs to fight Margarito and he's the main guy again. I always said he Margarito would be the top guy and it would come back to haunt Floyd for not fighting him.

don't feel sorry for floyd, just eat your cereal, like the hayabusa guy or the neighbor women...lol, floyd will be remembered as awesome talent. maybe he does'nt have the best of names on his resume, but he does have hatton, de la hoya, and possibily pac. i think that should put him someone in the top 25.

in the age of the internet where you have boxing forums, fights on youtube, boxing history will be under a new scrutiny and more detailed light

as for floyd, even if he stays retired, im not sure if he'll be looked down on..

im no longer a huge fan of his but anytime some casual fan asks me about him, i suprisingly find myself speaking highly of his skill and talent

its not til later on in these discussions that i start the 'he shoulda fought' arguments

Floyd was voted 2nd in that favourite fighter poll on this website... I don't think it's as bad as your making out. He will go down as one of the best fighters of our era. People will remember him more 10 years down the line. Just the way boxing is.

he is an american fighter if he retires unbeaten he will be put up very high, being american helps so much, there are people who but rey leonard over duran and i dissagree with that
