Took Johnson's best shots was never knocked down. Calzaghe got dropped by Hopkins and Jones.

As for the fight Dawson takes this UD. Calzaghe has fought great fighters like Eubank, Kessler, and Hopkins, but he has never fought anyone like Chad Dawson. And unlike Calzaghe Dawson doesn't slap with his punches. He throws fast, crisp, accurate punches, not amateur flurries. There handspeed are about the same, Calzaghe has a better workrate, but Dawson is a good counter-puncher.

Dawson will make Calzaghe pay everytime he tries those slapping flurries. And this is no disrespect to Calzaghe, he's one of the top 10 skilled boxers today and in his prime his fights weren't so ugly. Dawson will punish Calzaghe if he tries that ****. Hopkins and Kessler couldn't counter his punches but Dawson is another league. In terms of skill level he's a notch above Hopkins and Kessler. Actually I would say Hopkins is more skilled, but he's past his prime.

Pretty straight forward and easily predicted fight. Calzaghe wins by wide UD probably winning all or the vast majority of the rounds.

This couldn't be more right....I think Dawson would win by decision because of his speed....BUT to be perfectly honest it might be a biased pick since I HATE Calzaghe. So I could be totaly wrong....but I wont admit it until I see it!

I like Dawson by unanimous decision, he just has so many advantages technically that it would be too much for Joe to overcome, and you really have to be blind to not see that kind of threat he posses. Hes a bigger natural light heavyweight, is faster( i include power with speed) a better outside boxer, body puncher, 6'3 ct, on top of being a southpaw with good movement and Joe has never seen that before against someone in their prime( no disrespect to him of course). In fact, what was the last southpaw Joe has fought? Dawson has fought about 6 with 3 being world class. I won't break the fight down because i would be wasting my time, this fight will never happen. Joe cares about pride more than money, so he wants to retire unbeaten and if he fought Dawson, i don't think he would retire without a loss.
