i wasn't talking about valuev as much as ruiz before and rahman among others.

i remember the story a few years back.

the klits people approached king about some fights and he asked for rights to the klits in exchange for the title fight to happen.

    shady stuff.

Don King and Sauerland are 50/50 Valuev promoters.

King will demand "options" from either Klitschko for any voluntary shot at Valuev.

      He's an *******.

Wladimir has the WBO/IBF, give him the WBA or WBC belt and he will be undisputed in my book. That way he will have 3 out of 4 belts and that will be the majority.
i think ring amended it or needs to amend it.

the wbo is considered a major now. a few years back it wasn't considered a major org by most.

the org belts weren't a factor in joe getting the ring title.

joe was #1 and kessler was #2 when he beat mikkel. that's how he got awarded the ring belt.

Either way he still held the WBO. I agree that back even 10 years ago the WBO belt was considered to be a minor belt. Nowadays its top notch and is worth as much as the other titles.

Give Wlad one more title, and in my book he is undisputed.

calzaghe , hamed , barrera , wlad and vitali all made the wbo considered a major.

Vitali lost the WBO to Byrd. I don't see how that adds legitimacy...

the fact that vitali and byrd and later wlad and byrd was fighting for it.

wlad , vit and byrd were all highly ranked fighters at heavy right?

beats having herbie hide as your champ.

true that but at the time Wlad, Vitali and Byrd held that title 1999-2003, none of them were top dogs
