This post is a PERFECT example of what the thread starter is saying..

Maybe the Ring Magazine is the "questionable" thing around here??

When rating Wlad Historically, his Opponents "caliber" might be relevant..But in rating him NOW.. He can only fight who is in front of him.. and their caliber is NOT relevant to the fact he has beaten them all and there is NO ONE left for him to Fight..

In any other division his accomplishments would be enough..

Wlad is set to standards that make it impossible for him.. The culprits are Insecure American journalists, Like Ring Magazine who can't see beyond their own little corner of the world.. and Have NO imagination..

arreola would be an easy night for wlad. at least haye has handspeed.

I agree completely... but many people on this forum believe Areola would be an "exciting" challenge to Wlad. We are likely to see a clean knockout in this fight.

Regarding the first fight with Brewster, there was something wrong with Wlad physically. In the second fight he maintained a much higher tempo than in the first and was in a perfect condition.

As long as Vitali is around he can't officially clean out the division.

            you're trippin'.

there was no lineal champ at heavy since lewis retired.

to have a new lineal champ you have to unify all 3 major belts (wbc , wba , ibf. wbo doesn't count) OR the #1 has to fight #2.

when peter-wlad fought they were not #1 or 2 hence the ring belt wasn't awarded.

after that fight wlad and peter became #1 and #2.

read ring magazine and you'll know how they award ring belts. you don't know what you're talking about.

mayweather wasn't even ring champion at 130 when he was there. it has nothing to do with bias or nationality. wlad didn't meet their requirements which they have written down.

I am not only referring to where Ring Ranks him.. But to how he judged in general.. Which means you completely missed the point of my post.. and instead tried to find flaw in my example as opposed to responding to the Body of my post..

Wlad is held to different standards than other heavyweights.. and other boxers in general..

The only consistent reason I hear is because he isn't American..Or that he is Boring..

Think I am kidding?? There a Bunch of people Jizzing over a FAT slow slugger.. because it's all they got.. Meanwhile, perhaps the most Physically gifted and technically sound heavyweight in history is before them.. and they reject him... WHY?

He is so good he doesn't get hit and dominates.. and that is his fault??

He has a weakness and can overcome it and be a Champion.. and he gets criticised for his weakness instead of being praised for beating it..

He KO's people.. and that's what people say they want.. But they only remember the fights he didn't KO someone..

Right now the guy's whole career is being Judged on 4 fights.. his 3 losses and his Unifying victory over Ibragimov ...

              I find it amazing that people can't see 52 wins and 46 KO's .. 13 and 2 in title fights with 11 ko's..

                    what *?

he's number one. he's considered the best heavyweight at the moment.

you want him to be ring champ without A. beating the lineal champ B. unifying all 3 major belts C. winning a fight involving the #1 and #2 fighters in the division?

that's how you become ring champ. that's their rules. you want them to change it for him?

the man is being treated like the #1 heavyweight in the world. what do you want them to do? declare he's greater than ali or something?

the guy is considered #1. he gets paid millions and millions of dollars. he's on tv everytime he fights.

no need to pity him. let history judge his achievements.

In the real world the Ring Magazine title doesn't mean ****. The fact that HBO portrays him as the best heavyweight means more.
